It's what you give, not what you take.
Taking pictures is the easy bit at the end - you just need to become a technician.
It’s the bit before that, discovering visual connections and the falling in love with
the subject that I really care about.
It's always a challenge but it’s not really work, it’s about arriving at a moment of feeling excited.
Excited enough to run out into to the street and show someone.
Then it's about perfecting the lighting.
It all begins with an understanding of an idea about something.
Sometimes the thing is the idea. Sometimes you have to create the world.
I love that too.
